Bartels Truck Line was founded in 1946 by Alvin Bartels, who started with a single truck hauling livestock and dairy products. What began as a small family operation quickly grew through Alvin’s hard work, his wife Bernette’s support, and the next generation’s commitment to carrying the business forward.
In 1993, Alvin’s son Allen transitioned the company fully into refrigerated freight, laying the foundation for the reliable service we’re known for today. Now led by Allen, his son Jay, and grandson Max, Bartels Truck Line represents three generations of family leadership.
